The Club holds local exhibitions at irregular intervals, either independently, or in association with our partner club in Germany, Fotoclub Hückelhoven. This link with the German club is described here.

Our first exhibition with Fotoclub Hückelhoven in 2000/1 was on the theme "Spirit of Music" (called "Klangbilder" in its German version). You can click on this link to see the pictures which Midlothian Camera Club contributed.

The second joint exhibition with Fotoclub Hückelhoven was held in 2002/3 on the theme "Earth, Fire & Water" - this opened at the Dalkeith Arts Centre on 10th September 2002 and after 2 weeks there it toured the Midlothian Libraries until January 2003. The German counterpart opened in the Alten Rathaus Ratheim, Hückelhoven-Ratheim on 30th October 2002. You may view the "Earth, Fire, Water" exhibition here.

The third joint exhibition with Fotoclub Hückelhoven opened on 21st October 2003 in Dalkeith and subsequently toured the Midlothian Libraries until February 2004.  It also appeared in Germany from 21st May 2004 until December 2004. The theme was "Man-made" and may be viewed here.

The fourth joint exhibition is on the theme "Close up" and opened in Dalkeith Library on Wednesday 7 September 2005 and toured the Midlothian Libraries until mid-December 2005.  You can view the exhibition here.

It will also appear in Germany in September 2006.
